Supporting Clients at the Follow-up Appointment

This course is aimed at:-

Audiologists who want to move beyond the initial “settling in” challenges of hearing aid use and address deeper reasons why clients may not be fully embracing their amplification devices.

  • Evaluate the impact of acclimatisation and other influencing factors on reactive fine-tuning
  • Reflect on the areas of expectation and motivation and setting realistic goals
  • Describe tools available to assess how auditory training would be useful

She empowers her students to reach beyond their perceived boundaries, by guiding them with patience and empathy every step of the way. She has an open and friendly manner of teaching with a unique way of explaining complicated topics that helps our students leave with a new found confidence.

Prerequisites 

Delegates must be working in the field of Audiology as a Registered Audiologist.
