- Thoroughly understand and articulate the anatomy and physiology of the ear, discussing common ear conditions and their implications on aural care.
- Clearly define your professional boundaries within aural care, enhancing your ability to identify when referrals are necessary.
- Analyse and compare various equipment and techniques, understanding their principles and recognising any contraindications.
- Assess the effectiveness of different cerumenolytics, making informed decisions in your practice and for your patients.

Prerequisites
1) Delegates must be experienced in Otoscopy and currently performing it in practice. Delegates who do not meet this criteria will be invited to attend the Ear Examination (Otoscopy) course first.
2) Delegates must be working in the field of Audiology as a Registered Audiologist or under the supervision of a Registered Audiologist, or in a related medical role e.g. ENT or practice nurse.
